Halberg Scores Double Play From Behind the Plate

Roy Halberg (pictured), pastor of Grace Fellowship, the Grace Brethren church in Alta Loma, Calif., this past Saturday said his “boyhood dream of playing catcher for the Dodgers” was “almost realized” as he officiated a wedding at home plate in Dodger stadium. Neither the bride nor groom was a ballplayer—just “two very good fans who thought getting married here was a great idea.”
